(G)I-DLE Expresses Thoughts About Their Comeback + Shares Group Goals With 'DUMBi DUMBi'
(G)I-DLE recently showcased their upcoming single 'DUMBi DUMBi.' The members shared their thoughts about their comeback, including their preparations.
Per Soompi, 'DUMBi DUMBi' marks the group's return after four months since their successful 'Oh My God' comeback.
During the interview, Soyeon shared that she is in a good mood and confident while Yuqi talked about her exhilaration for the release of their new single.
The group members also shared their thoughts about their first solo concert, 'I-LAND: WHO Am I,' that was witnessed online last month. Every member of the group got their solo portions at the concert. And the girls expressed that they were all contented on how the show went.
Soyeon said that she wants to give herself five out of five points based on how she evaluated her performance. She continued that there were lots of things she wants to show when she was still a trainee and considers that there's a limit when it comes to music show performances. "I was so glad that I was finally able to showcase a type of stage that I can perform well."
Yuqi also expressed that five points are not enough for the effort she exerted. She said that she showed her different side during the online concert, including her voice as the group vocalist.
At the same time, Shuhua noted that she also wants to give herself a five because she considers her performance unusual, especially when watching herself on the monitor that made her fall in love with herself.
Meanwhile, Minnie expressed her sadness as they could not meet the Neverland ((G)I-DLE fandom) even though it was their first concert. But she noted that their fans cheered them a lot through the live comments and surprised when they heard Neverland's fan chant during their final 'LATATA' stage.
Finally, Soojin shared their group's aims for their comeback with 'DUMBi DUMBi,' and said that they hope to get number 1 on music charts, earning them the keyword "unrivaled."
