Former comedian turned actress Park Bo-mi and former footballer Park Yo-han are mourning the loss of their son.

On the 20th, footballer Na Sang-ho (FC Seoul) announced the bereavement of the couple's son, the late Park Si-mon.

The obituary reads, "Our beloved son Simon has gone to heaven. We hope you will forgive us for not being able to reach out to each of you individually."

The wake will be held at room 32 of the Seoul Asan Hospital Funeral Hall, with the funeral procession departing at 11:20 am on the 22nd. The burial site will be the Seoul Memorial Park.

Park Bo-mi revealed on the 16th, "My dearly loved angel, my son Simon, suffered cardiac arrest due to a sudden fever, but his heart miraculously started beating again for his family after 40 minutes of CPR."

She continued, "He is now in a deep sleep. He needs the power of prayer. Please pray for him. He's truly a miraculous child, our angel Simon sent from heaven. Please pray with all your heart for him. Our family is bearing it very bravely. Most of all, because Simon is enduring it so well."

Adding, "I believe a miracle will happen for our Simon. I'm sorry I won't be able to respond to those asking after my well-being for the time being."

However, the news of their son's death has stirred feelings of deep regret.

Born in 1989, the 34-year-old Park Bo-mi first appeared in the 2012 EBS 'Come Together Ding Dong Dang' as Princess Dali, and debuted as a comedian in the 29th KBS public recruitment in 2014.

She switched to full-time acting in 2017, starring in works like 'Strong Woman Do Bong-soon' and 'Mr. Sunshine'. She married former footballer Park Yo-han in 2020.
