ATEEZ's Jongho Takes On the 'High-Note Finale Challenge' on 'Immortal Songs'
Jongho of the group ATEEZ is set to challenge for the title of "ultimate high-note king."
Jongho of ATEEZ, widely regarded as a leading figure in K-pop and adored by global fans, will appear in the second part of the 'Heavenly High-Note Finale' special on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs,' airing on May 13.
As the only member of an idol group participating, Jongho has chosen to perform 'So, You Are' by Yan, a rock ballad that will showcase the quintessence of high notes. Following Jongho's performance during recording, applause and high praise were showered on him by the audience, judges, and staff alike.
Jongho, the main vocalist of ATEEZ, is affectionately known as 'Haribo with a beautiful voice' by fans and adds a special touch to ATEEZ's performances with his sensitive emotional expression and explosive high notes. His surprising abilities have been displayed previously through his four- and six-step high notes on various stages, including Mnet's 'Kingdom: Legendary War' and KBS2's 'Immortal Songs - Kim Jong Kook x Turbo Edition,' heightening the anticipation for his performance today.
In addition to his work with ATEEZ, Jongho has been showcasing his broad range of musical activities by singing OSTs for various programs such as JTBC drama 'Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family,' TVING original 'Youth MT,' and tvN 'Youth Melody,' and appearing on music programs such as KBS Kpop's official YouTube channel 'Limousine Service' and MBC's 'King of Mask Singer.'
