'8-Year Lovebirds' Se7en and Lee Da-hae Tie the Knot: 'Met on a Spring Day, Became May Bride'
Singer Se7en and actress Lee Da-hae are getting married today (May 6, KST) after an 8-year-long relationship.
The couple will hold their wedding ceremony at 6 p.m. at the Dynasty Hall in Shilla Hotel, Jung-gu, Seoul.
The two, who confirmed their relationship in September 2016, announced their marriage in March.
At the time, Lee Da-hae said, "Since we've been dating for 8 years, it may not be a big surprise, but I had a lot of concerns about how to tell you and felt shy."
She added, "Though I'm still more familiar with the term 'boyfriend,' I will live as a caring and supportive existence as a good wife to 'Se7en♥︎,' who will now become my lifelong companion, who has steadfastly protected me and given me great happiness." Se7en also said, "As the head of a family and a husband, I will live with more maturity and responsibility."
In their wedding invitation, the couple wrote, "We, who first met on a warm spring day, have spent 8 years together and now promise to become one for the rest of our lives. We will cherish your blessings for our beautiful beginning."
Meanwhile, comedians Kim Jun-ho and Jo Se-ho will host the first and second part of the wedding ceremony, respectively. Singers Taeyang, Gummy, and Bada will perform congratulatory songs.
