Musical actor Yang Ji-won (36) is getting married.

According to a report by Maeil Economy Star Today, Yang Ji-won will walk down the aisle with his partner of eight years on May 20.

Yang Ji-won personally shared the news of her marriage on her social media on May 4. Through a handwritten letter, he said, "On the upcoming May 20th, I will be marrying the person I love," and added, "During the long eight years we've been together, we've had both happy and painful times, but we have acknowledged each other's vulnerability, shown forgiveness, and made a deeper realization of the preciousness of our bond as we vowed to live as a married couple."

He also introduced his soon-to-be wife, saying, "The person who will become my wife is much more virtuous and affectionate than I am, and truly a warm person. Above all, she loves children and is simply a person full of love."

Moreover, He expressed her deep affection by saying, "She has been with me through all the tough times when I had nothing, and even now, she supports me with her prayers by my side."

Yang Ji-won pledged, "I want to spend the rest of my life with this person. We will hold hands tightly and live well together through both joyful and sad days, happy and painful days, until the day God permits us on this earth," and added, "I will live sharing the love I have received from all of you."

Yang Ji-won has appeared in musicals such as 'The Rocky Horror Show,' 'Gwanghwamun Love Song,' 'About Angels: Fallen Angels,' 'Hwanghol Sonata,' 'Final Confession,' and 'Thrill Me.' He is currently playing the role of Wilde in the musical 'The Happy Prince,' which premiered on April 29th at the Chungmu Art Center's Medium Theater.
