The 3rd semester major field mission for "After School Excitement Season 2 - Boy Fantasy" has begun.

On the afternoon of the 27th, MBC's entertainment program "After School Excitement Season 2 - Boy Fantasy" showcased Park Hyung-geun, who survived through Guje-kwon, and the boys participating in the 3rd semester major field mission.

At the 2nd semester ranking announcement, following the 36th place Jung Deun-hae-sol, 35th place was announced as Kim Dae-hee. Kim Dae-hee expressed his relief, saying, "I wasn't ranked high in the 1st semester ranking announcement either, so I might not even be in the next one."

From 34th to 31st place, the names of Seo Sang-woo and Bok Nae-dial were announced. Kang Yi-rang, who was announced 30th, expressed his disappointment, saying, "I was aiming for the 20s."

Ha Seok-hee, who was 20th in the 1st semester, fell to 27th in the 2nd semester. Kim Jin-ho, who was 31st in the 1st semester and wasn't called for 22nd place in the 2nd semester, said "I'm coming out now" and ambitiously shouted "Yoo Jun-won (2nd in the 1st semester), get nervous!" when the boys asked how far he would climb.

However, at Kim Kyu-rae's suggestion to aim a little lower, he said "Isn't that it?" and settled in 21st place with a 10-step rise.

Lee Han-bin, who was 18th in the 1st semester, grew anxious as his name wasn't called even up to 18th place in the 2nd semester. When his name was called for 17th place, he showed a happy smile.

Kim Kyu-rae fell from 12th to 14th place, and Kang Seung-yoon said about his rank, "I think I should feel responsible for being in 14th place now."

Kang Hyun-woo, who was 11th in the 1st semester debut group, was pushed to 13th place, and the new debut group's 12th place was Kim Woo-seok, who was 24th in the 2nd semester visual mission.

Kim Jin-ho admired Kim Woo-seok for climbing 12 steps without any benefits. Ya Ya, who was 4th, and Oh Hyun-tae, who was 10th, were called to debut for the first time in 11th and 10th place, respectively.

9th place was Tae-sun, who fell three steps, 8th place was Moon Hyun-bin, 7th place was Kang Dae-hyun, who climbed from 17th place with a 2,000-point benefit, and 6th place was Santa, who was 1st in the 1st semester, changing the protagonist.

Following that, Lingchi, who rose to 5th place, thanked the "Fantasy Makers" and promised to study Korean diligently.

The 2nd semester 1st place candidates were Yoo Jun-won and Hong Sung-min, with Hong Sung-min taking the 1st place throne and Yoo Jun-won becoming 2nd.

Song Do-hyun, whose name was called in 37th place, escaping the final elimination, showed tears of relief and regret towards the eliminated boys.

Hwang Jae-min shed tears for Park Hyung-geun, who couldn't advance together, and Choi Kang-chang-min announced that one Guje-kwon would be given to the main producer of each semester.

2nd semester main producer Woo-young used the Guje-kwon on Park Hyung-geun, while Park Min-geun, Choi Min-seo, Bae Jae-ho, and Moon Hyuk-jun were ultimately eliminated.

Woo-young cheered for Park Hyung-geun, saying, "I thought this friend was an undiscovered gem. I hope many people will recognize Hyung-geun's charm. Please become a Fantasy Boy."

Barely surviving, Park Hyung-geun expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much for choosing me. I won't miss this opportunity and will work hard to show you a great side of me."

After the 2nd semester ranking announcement, the boys faced a tearful farewell with the eliminated members. Woo-young approached the eliminated boys and comforted them, saying, "You've worked hard. Don't give up."

Meanwhile, Ya Ya revealed his withdrawal from the show due to an injury caused by an accident rather than a chronic illness. He said, "I didn't tell anyone and tried to overcome it with medicine. My knee started to suffer as I continued dancing. Since I don't know when Boy Fantasy will end, I decided to go back to Thailand. I hope the remaining boys will always do their best, and everyone, fighting!"

Jin-young, who took on the role of the 3rd semester main producer, introduced the idol major field mission. Vocal, rap, and dance position boys will form a team, with vocals performing vocal & ad-libs, dance performing dance breaks, and rap making the rap.

Benefits will be given to each overall 1st place in each field, and benefits will also be provided to all members of the team with the 1st place in each position.

As the mission songs from EXO's "Monster" to WINNER's "Really Really" were revealed, the boys were curious about what Hong Sung-min would choose.

The morning game determined the 1st place in singing, rap, and dance scores, with Moon Hyun-bin, Hikaru, and Seo Sang-woo each rising to 1st place in their respective positions.

Vocal 1st place Hikaru chose WINNER's "Really Really" for vocals, dance 1st place Moon Hyun-bin chose "Monster" for vocals, and Seo Sang-woo chose "Shoot Out."

The remaining boys had their order determined by a draw picked by Jin-young. Lee Han-bin, who was picked first, took the last remaining vocal spot in "Really Really," which he originally wanted. Jin-young said, "In order to get a spot, you need to choose a boy and have a 1-on-1 battle."

The winner of the battle is determined by team members who chose the same song. As the dance heavyweight Si-ryu's name was called, the boys started cleaning chairs, hoping he would join their team.

While dancing, Si-ryu moved hesitantly and chose BTS's "I Need U" without being swayed by Seo Sang-woo.

Park Hyung-geun, who survived with the Guje-kwon, took up the challenge and sat in "Maze," which no one had chosen yet, and said he would do his best, thinking it was his last stage.

As the selections continued, the "Shoot Out" and "Maze" teams had relatively more spots left compared to the remaining songs. As Tae-sun was called, the boys started to get excited, and he requested a vocal battle with Lee Han-bin.

Tae-sun said, "I thought Han-bin didn't fit. I really wanted to do it," and the verse singing began.

Lee Han-bin sang, showing off his genius tone, while a flustered Tae-sun appealed to the members, hugging Hikaru and singing. The boys shouted, "That's a threat!"

Tae-sun said, "Han-bin's tone was crazy. He was showing off his charm, and I was too funny to keep my composure."

The "Really Really" team chose Lee Han-bin with a 4 to 2 vote, and Tae-sun and Kang Il-rang showed their disappointment.

Hong Sung-min, who chose the dance position, requested a battle with Kang Il-rang from "Really Really." Hong Sung-min said, "In the case of Hyun-tae, he's really good at dancing, and Il-rang is good at it steadily."

Kang Il-rang showed off his skills, which he learned from Tae-sun, to the members, but he couldn't laugh at the older members' jokes. Hong Sung-min confidently showed off his charm using the same method as Kang Il-rang, and the "Really Really" team chose him, taking Kang Il-rang's spot.

Yoo Jun-won wanted "Monster" and "I Need U" and requested a dance battle with Geum Jin-ho when his name was called. Between the powerful Geum Jin-ho and Yoo Jun-won, who has unique facial expressions and dance lines, the "Monster" team said it was important to have someone with a high voting rank.

The "Monster" team chose Yoo Jun-won, and Geum Jin-ho returned to his seat.

The remaining nine boys were allowed to choose their positions according to their ranking, and Tae-sun chose the vocal position for the "Maze" team, wanting Yoo Yu-ma as the person who didn't want to join the team, but ended up on the same team.

He worried as the team consisted of five foreigners and two Koreans, becoming a multinational team. Kang Il-rang, who had been considering the dance position, chose the rap position for the first time in his life, and all team selections were completed.

Many nervous boys appeared among those who had no time for last-minute checks 30 minutes before the performance. In the 3rd semester competition, SHINee's Minho appeared as a special MC instead of Choi Kang-chang-min.

Hearing Lee Han-bin's song in the "Really Really" team, which took the stage first, Jeon So-yeon was surprised, saying it sounded just like Lee Seung-yoon's voice.

Meanwhile, MBC's entertainment program "After School Excitement Season 2 - Boy Fantasy" airs every Thursday at 10 PM.
