Actress Han Jung-won has found new love and is expecting a baby following her divorce.

On the 5th, Han Jung-won shared her pregnancy news, saying, "I can't believe I'm going to be a mom. I thought natural conception would be difficult, but I'm so grateful for this little one coming into my life. Everyone said I was getting too old, so I waited until the 12-week mark to cautiously announce my pregnancy."

Speaking with OSEN, Han Jung-won revealed that she is now entering the 12th week of her pregnancy, saying, "I had to be careful until now, so it was difficult to share the news earlier." She added, "I went on a trip to Vietnam to celebrate a close couple's wedding, and that's when I realized something was off. When I returned to Korea and took a test, I found out I was pregnant."

Alongside her pregnancy announcement, Han Jung-won also shared that she has found a new love, a 4-year-older, hardworking non-celebrity. She described him as someone more attentive than herself, even realizing her pregnancy before she did. He had predicted her pregnancy while they were in Vietnam and was not surprised but touched when they found out.

Han Jung-won has yet to hold a wedding ceremony or register her marriage with her future husband. She mentioned, "Right now, the baby comes first, so we're thinking about having a wedding after the birth." They are planning to register their marriage soon.

Regarding the baby's name, Han Jung-won explained, "The baby's nickname is Geumdong. I had a dream about two huge golden droppings, and I thought it was related to financial luck, so I bought a lottery ticket. But it turned out to be a dream about my baby, and my husband said, 'Since you dreamed of gold droppings, the baby's name should be Geumdong.'"

Han Jung-won said she's grateful for her naturally conceived baby, Geumdong, and shared her thoughts about whether it would be a boy or a girl: "I'm happy with either a son or a daughter, but I feel like it's a boy."

Han Jung-won, known for her active lifestyle, took extra precautions during her pregnancy until reaching the stable period. Now in a safer stage, she plans to stay active, exercise, and practice prenatal care. She said, "I will move around and do what I want while preparing for a healthy birth."

Han Jung-won debuted in the movie 'Volcano High' in 2001 and starred in various films such as 'Miss Hongdangmu,' 'Heaven and Sea,' and 'Family's Honor 5: The Return of the Family.'
