Oh Na Ra Is Suspicious In Recent Stills Released For 'CHIP-IN'
MBC's new drama, "CHIP-IN," which airs every Wednesday and Thursday, releases new stills of Oh Na Ra.
Per Soompi, "CHIP-IN" is a black comedy-mystery drama that tells about nine people who gather in the house of a famous artist hoping to get an inheritance.
The first episode of "CHIP-IN" showed a thorough look at the nine family members including In Ho (Nam Moon Chul)- the famous artist who owns the house, the ex-mistress of the artist- Kim Ji Hye (Oh Na Ra) and her daughter Yoo Bit Na (Kim Hye Joon).
Oh Na Ra as Kim Ji Hye plays the role of an immature greedy mother who gets scolded by her daughter most of the time. But despite her apparent greed, she is still honest with her daughter in her desire to get the artist's inheritance.
However, in the middle of her belief that her daughter Yoo Bit Na is first in line to get the artist's inheritance, comes unexpected news that the artist had passed away before he revealed his last will.
The released images of "CHIP-IN" show Kim Ji Hye's suspicious actions during the artist's birthday, which was also the day he died. In the picture, Kim Ji Hye watches someone from an open door and looks at what is inside a room.
The other photo shows Kim Ji Hye (Oh Na Ra) examining a mysterious pill bottle, which raises suspicions of what she is doing.
The artist's sudden death made the eight family members part of the suspected persons, including Kim Ji Hye. Viewers become curious and suspicious of Yoo Bit Na's mother's recent actions if it might be connected to the death of the head of the house.
Meanwhile, MBC's "CHIP-IN" soars to the top spot of the Wednesday night drama ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, the recorded rating of the premiere of the drama in the average nationwide viewership is 3.7 and 3.9 percent. The record revealed a slight increase from its predecessor, "She Knows Everything," which recorded 2.3 and 2.5 percent ratings on its final episode.
