SNSD’s Tiffany Reportedly Joining Song Joong Ki In JTBC’s Web-Based Drama
Girls Generation's Tiffany was reportedly cast in Song Joong Ki's next drama that will air on JTBC. The said project was based on the popular webtoon titled Chaebol Family's Youngest Son.
When the news of Tiffany's casting came out, fans are said to have immediately expressed their excitement and could not wait to see Song Joong Ki and the Girls Generation member's chemistry in the drama.
As per Allkpop, the netizens are also excited to see the 31-year-old idol singer acting as a chaebol along with Song Joong Ki. They also commented that they saw Tiffany act before, and she played her role really well. Fans also said that they could see that her role as a chaebol would fit her plus the webtoon itself is funny, so they are really looking forward to the drama.
Then again, it seems that there is no confirmation yet about Tiffany's addition to the drama. Based on the reports, while it is true that JTBC sent her a casting offer for Song Joong Ki's next drama following the huge success of Vincenzo, it was clarified that nothing is confirmed yet.
Soompi reported that If Tiffany agreed to join Song Joong Ki in Chaebol Family's Youngest Son, it will be her debut in the small screen. It was also said that the role really suits Tiffany as her character is someone who lived overseas.
In real life, she was born and grew up in San Francisco until she was discovered by SM Entertainment. She only moved to South Korea when she was recruited to become a trainee to debut as part of a girl group.
Meanwhile, Tiffany has moved out of SM Entertainment already since 2018. Rather than renewing her contract, she signed with Paradigm Talent Agency, a US-based company instead. She already started her solo activities, starring in the musical play Chicago as Roxie Hart.
