Key East downplays Ji-soo's sex scandals to avoid paying damages
Victory Contents on May 26 announced its position and demanded Ji-soo's agency Key East take responsibility for damage Ji-soo caused to 'River Where the Moon Rises' because of his scandals.
Victory stated, "The first adjustment date for the damages suit we filed against Key East in the Seoul Central District Court was on the 20th. Key East's side only sent legal reps (lawyers) but no company officials attended. If you look at the preparation forms submitted, Key East is showing they're two faced because they're saying we one-sidedly notified them of damages without confirming the facts. It seems like they're trying to say we're responsible for the breach of contract."
"Key East is distorting Ji-soo's school abuse as if its not true. They're basically committing a second offense to the company as well as the actors, directors, writers and all the staff and victims that suffered from his abuse and re-filming. Key East is already promoting a new drama with a production cost of 40 billion won with Hallyu star Lee Young-ae and claiming that they won't be paying a single penny in damages to our company."
PD Yoon stated, " Re-filming of the main role for episodes 1-6 was very hard and 3 billion won damages we're claiming is just the minimum. It doesn't take into account the many losses we incurred or the decline in quality of the drama because of his scandals."
- [+3,248, -30] If he caused damage then he has to pay up!
- [+2,000, -30] Harassment and sexual violence leaves trauma for a lifetime!!! Ji-soo is a coward for not only fleeing to the army after his sex scandals but for exiting the drama in the middle of filming. There are rumors even the volleyball twins are calculating the right timing to make a comeback. Make sure he compensates the company and school for his scandals and agencies need to be diligent when scouting celebrities. He has to be permanently exiled from society!!!! Let's make it clear that we don't tolerate trash like them in the industry~~~~~!!!!!
- [+895, -20] The hakpok [bullying] scandals are nothing when compared to the numerous sexual assaults he's accused of..
- [+516, -11] All these ba$tards need to get hit in the pocketbook where it matters to wake up any kids that think of becoming iljins ~
- [+143, -1] These school iljins need to get hit so that they realize there are repercussions to their behavior in case they think of becoming celebrities in the future...
- [+125, -1] Jisoo surpassed your typical iljin, he's at the level of satan or devil. He abused kids in school and r*ped them causing them trauma. Everyday in school was hell for them...even if he runs away to the army, his past is now out in the open and he needs to get punished!
- [+107, -3] He turned the drama upside down with his scandals and caused physical and mental damage his co-stars, staff, extras, crew etc...? They all deserve compensation for that no?
- [+74, -0] We need to make sure abusers like them are exiled from broadcasts forever!!!
- [+44, -3] Ah ~ this ba$tard and his agency are shameless. His co-stars had to re-film the drama unpaid and worked hard to make the drama successful despite his scandals. Make sure he pays for his sins and gets buried from society. I don't ever want to see that ugly face in the future.
