Red Velvet's Irene And Actor Shin Seung Ho Attend Script Reading For 'Double Patty'
On 21 July, the Korean celebrity actor Shin Seung Ho, Red Velvet's Irene, along with other casts, took part in the first script reading of the much-awaited upcoming big-screen film in Korea 'Double Patty.'
In 'Double Patty,' Irene will be playing her first-ever leading role as a student to aspires to be a newscaster, Lee Hyun Ji. Opposite to Irene, Shin Seung Ho portrays Kang Woo Ram, a college student and former high school title holder of wrestling. The movie depicts narratives about their progress and youth experiences as young college students. (via Allkpop)
Veteran actors in the film industry, such as Jung Young Joo, Jo Dal Hwan, and many more, will be featured in this film. 'Double Patty' also marks the first large-screen launch funded, developed, and marketed by one of Korea's most prominent and leading telecom firms, KT.
KT hopes to broaden its official version of web / TV drama content to larger screens, including movie theatres and Double Patty's' production. 'Double Patty' is scheduled to debut in Korean theaters this year, and will also be launched digitally through KT's 'Seezn.'
