BTS Is Set To Perform On iHeartRadio’s 10th Anniversary Music Festival With Coldplay
BTS is gearing to perform in the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival alongside Coldplay and other famous Western artists!
Scheduled on September 18 and 19, the music festival will be showing a two-day virtual mega concert along with famous artists in the world.
American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest will host the event with expected big performances from BTS, Coldplay, and Kane Brown. iHeart Music Festival will also have individual performances from Keith Urban, Migos, Miley Cyrus, Thomas Rhett, Usher, and many more.
Per Soompi, the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival is planned to include one-of-a-kind collaborations and surprise performances. The event is set to telecast via live streaming (CW App and CWTV.com) from Los Angeles and Nashville venues.
On September 27 and 28, “The CW Network” will be broadcasting the iHeartRadio’s two-night music festival, via Slanted.
This year’s event is also the 10th anniversary of iHeartradio. The show will be featuring artists on the backstage sharing the impacts of COVID-19 on their lives, families, and the industry.
As reported by Broadway World, music fans will not be able to attend the 2020 festival. Still, fans who watch the live broadcast in their homes will have a chance to appear on a fan video wall during their idol’s performances.
There will also be an online meet and greet opportunities and chances for fans to introduce their favorite artists.
John Sykes, the president of iHeartMedia Entertainment Enterprises, said that they are working closely with the artist circle to create a safe way for them to step back on stage and perform for millions of their fans on the television and radio. “It’s our devotion to helping the artists whose music we play here in iHeartRadio stay connected to their fans.”
After the postponement of BTS’ 2020 World Tour due to the coronavirus pandemic, the boy group has joined fellow global stars in virtual events, including “HomeFest: James Corden’s Late Late Show Special” and YouTube’s virtual graduation ceremony “Dear Class of 2000.”
Moreover, the superstars’ pay-per-view online concert “BANG BANG CON: The Live” in June was able to achieve a massive amount of viewers across the world with over 750,000 people.
