BTS Makes History As First Korean Artist To Be Nominated For 'BRITS Awards'
The world's most phenomenal K-pop group BTS once again proved that its popularity and influence is worldwide, as the band snatches a nomination for BRIT Awards.

Members RM, J-hope, Suga, V, Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook, set history among Korean artists as they grabbed a nomination for BRIT Awards, showing off its influence in the United Kingdom.
As per Soompi, it was on March 31 (Wednesday) local time that the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) officially made known the nominees for this year's BRIT Awards. That said, BTS was among the nominees, snagging its first-ever nomination from the award-giving body.
Undoubtedly, BTS showed off its presence in the UK market, as the BRIT Awards is considered the most high-profile music awards event in the country.
Furthermore, the BRIT Awards is an annual event that showcases and exhibits the achievements of artists in their music, celebrating their pieces unlike any other.
BTS sets a record by being the first-ever Korean artist to be nominated for the awarding show, leading the band to trend on various social media channels. On the other hand, the ever-supportive BTS ARMYs did not go wrong in congratulating their idols, either be on Twitter, Weverse, Instagram, and Facebook.
The nomination of BTS
For this year's BRIT Awards, the Dynamite singers and rappers will cross swords against other artists nominated for the Best International Group award. The said award was just reinstated for this year's event after it was put on break for a year.
BTS will be going against its fellow nominees, namely, Run the Jewels, Haim, Foo Fighters, and Fontaines DC.
ARMYs from across the world are very excited to witness the upcoming BRIT Awards, knowing BTS has a chance to grace the event. For the time being, it is still unknown if BTS is performing in the event.
