Girls Generation's Hyoyeon talks about how COVID-19 affects her job as a DJ and her prediction for SM Entertainment's future board of directors on MBC's 'Radio Star.'

On January 28, Thursday, Hyoyeon is currently venturing as a DJ at clubs and EDM festivals and talked about how COVID-19 strongly affected her profession as the pandemic strictly restricts public gathering to avoid further virus transmission. Hyoyeon also shared he has been invited to play in Taiwan but was canceled due to COVID-19.

Hyoyeon said, "I recently went to Taiwan. Taiwan has had very few COVID-19 cases. The Taiwanese government invited me to a major event. But on the morning of the event, a variant case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Taiwan, and the event was changed to be no longer in-person. I did some DJ-ing there and performed my song 'Dessert.'"

Moreover, Hyoyeon revealed she had received many invitations to showcase her music style as a DJ in other countries, including her dream country, the Netherlands. Believed as the country and birthplace for most DJs, Hyoyeon shared how it is fulfilling to seize the opportunity to perform in the Netherlands.

Due to his deep passion for being DJ, Hyoyeon thought about this part-time to be her full-time career and that she informed Lee Soo Man about her firm decision about it. She was eventually acknowledged by the SM Founder and even got her team under her managing label.

When asked about her thoughts of becoming one of the board directors at SM Entertainment like BoA, Kangta, and Kim Min Jong, Hyoyeon agreed she would love to, but TVXQ's Yunho would become a member first before her.

Hyoyeon referred to TVXQ's Yunho, Changmin, and Minho as very passionate and caring people as they would always ask the current state of their co-workers, label mates, or friends.
