TREASURE Shares Details Of Their First Full-Length Album Through Their Global Press Conference
Rookie boy group TREASURE intends to share hope ad encouragement to fans and the public as they make a comeback through their first-ever full-length album, 'THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT.'
On January 12, Tuesday, rookie group TREASURE launched a global conference as they share more details regarding their full-length album, 'THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT.' Bang Ye Dam first shared TREASURE's intention through their music, and that is to share hope and warm encouragement to whoever listens to it as we face an ongoing health crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moreover, Bang Ye Dam mentioned how the album would story-tell a series of stories that will bring the listeners to a world of fantasy and musical theater feeling. That said, TREASURE showcases incredible talent in various musical styles, be it bright and funky, or a boy next door vibes included in their music videos' BOY,' 'I LOVE YOU,' and 'MMM.'
TREASURE's full-length album, opening track is 'MY TREASURE,' which aims to uplift the spirits and hope of those listening to it. Touching their hearts to remain strong and hopeful, and the future of overcoming this hardest struggle of the world is possible. Doyoung added how 'THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT' is highly different from their previous releases as it embraces a hopeful genre.
Doyoung further expressed how the title track gives off a refreshing vibe and how he felt light while recording the track. TREASURE hopes that easiness and hope will be felt by those who listen to it, just like how they experienced it while recording the track.
'THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT' will have t10 tracks on its digital version of the album and 12 tracks on the physical copy. Three new tracks are added: ' MY TREASURE,' 'BE WITH ME,' and 'SLOWMOTION,' which was collaboratively written by AKMU's Lee Chanyuk.
When asked about what they want to say to their fans, which they cannot see in person due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and government protocols, Jeong Woo expressed gratitude.
"When I get to see our fans in person, I want to tell them, 'Thank you for waiting.' I had only imagined what it would be like to hear our fans cheer until I heard them online. It was a touching feeling I had never felt before. I would like to feel it again and deliver our energy to our fans as well," Jeong Woo concluded.
