K-pop idol Chungha is now officially released from the COVID-19 quarantine facility following good recovery signs despite having an asymptomatic diagnosis from the virus.

On December 21, Monday, Chungha is now officially discharged from the quarantine facility holding her isolated since her positive result from COVID-19. Chungha's managing label MNH Entertainment has released their statement updating the fans and public on her current state following her release from the facility.

In the statement, MNH Entertainment confirmed her discharge after she got quarantined in the facility and was held there to get appropriate treatment for her asymptomatic diagnosis.

Chungha was quarantined for 11 days as she had an asymptomatic case, which was ordered to stay a day longer, unlike other positive issues that are usually released after spending ten days in the facility.

After staying for 11 days and receiving proper treatment, the idol has been advised to go home as her case is not contagious. MNH Entertainment confirmed that Chungha is now staying and fully recuperating at home.

Moreover, as COVID-19 cases affect more Korean celebrities and staff filming on set and attending press conferences, Chunga is still on pause from attending media commitments. The idol is still advised to undergo self-quarantine and practice sanitary hygiene until she fully recovers from COVID-19.

MNH Entertainment concluded they are still following government restriction protocols for COVID-19 for their artists and staff's health and safety. Chungha is yet to address her fans following her discharge from the quarantine facility.
