Kai Spotted Crying Over A Letter Amidst Debuting In Four Billboard Charts
Kai, a South Korean actor, singer, dancer, actor, and model, gave his fans enlightenment about why he started crying while divulging himself in a letter sent by a young fan during a live broadcast.
EXO Kai remembers his rookie years in the letter
Allkpop reported that Kai graced a broadcast of Jung Eunji's Music Plaza on December 9 (Wednesday), where DJ Eunji mentioned that she heard the singer cried while reading a fan letter.
The 26-year-old newly debuted solo artist was then very rapid to answer, saying, "As I was reading it, I was moved by all the memories I had since I was a rookie 8 years ago. I was so thankful that I cried."
Before he said those words, Kai revealed that it had been a long time since he could physically interact with his fans. That means his mind piled up countless memories of, making it into tears by the letter sent by a fan.
After Kai explained, Eunji joked that million people saw him, leading almost everyone in the room to laugh.
The EXO and SuperM member's sweet moment crying over a fan letter took place in late November during the idol's Naver V LIVE stream. The live broadcast celebrates the launch of his first-ever solo album of the same name, where his fans got mesmerized to see their idol shed tears in front of the camera.
Kai debuted four charts on Billboard with debut album
Despite Kai shedding tears, his fans' delight to congratulate their idol for finishing big on Billboard. In another report by Allkpop, Kai's solo album ranked four Billboard charts, alongside topping 114 music charts worldwide.
Recently, Kai made it to No. 7 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart, No. 11 on Billboard's World Albums chart, No. 15 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, and No. 48 on the Emerging Artists list.
