Girls' Generation's Sooyoung shares details on her upcoming project with JTBC's drama 'Run On.' Sooyoung will show off her leadership skills in the project, and fans are hyped as she sets the bar higher with an in-depth explanation of her role.

On December 2, Wednesday, Soompi reported that Girls' Generation's Sooyoung sat down for an interview discussing her upcoming project to be officially released this month.

JTBC's drama 'Run On' is a romance drama about people doing their best to connect with others despite their differences and after getting used to living different lifestyles and paces.

  Im Siwan has been confirmed to be one of the cast who will be portraying Sun Kyum. He is a retired track and field athlete whose life changed after an event cost him his biggest turning point in life, and later became a sports agent. Meanwhile, Shin Se Kyung will take on the role of Oh Min Joo, who is adventurous in nature and a foreign film translator. Moreover, Sooyoung will also be starring in the drama series as the sports agency CEO Seo Dan Ah. Sooyoung discussed the in-depth personalities of Lee Young Hwa (portrayed by Kang Tae Oh) and her character Seo Dan Ah. She added that these two characters hate getting lost; both Lee Young Hwa and Seo Dan Ah will develop a mutual feeling, which will confuse them at first but would greatly be developed as they work on it together.

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung made some key points on what to expect from her character Seo Dan Ah. She admitted that her character might be clumsy with feelings owing to the competitive environment she grew up in; still, her strengths as an individual will shine more, excluding her flaws, and she would still become more successful.

Furthermore, Sooyoung described that Seo Dan Ah is the kind of person who doesn't hold grudges to anyone and a woman who knows how to handle situations, even facing someone with rude manners. Regarding her leadership skills in acting, she said, "I wanted to show an intelligent and capable young woman leader."

Fans now are looking forward to Sooyoung's drama project this December and are thrilled to see how far she has improved as an actress. JTBC's 'Run On' will air this December 16 at 9:00 p.m KST.
