Here's Why Woollim Entertainment Prohibited Golden Child's Jangjun From Working Out
Golden Child is a team to be dealt with when it comes to actual physical activities. They have brought approximately thirty medals home in the years that they participated in the Idol Star Athletics Championships.
According to Koreaboo, Jangjun earned the most accolades, snagging up ten of them. While these are marvelous attainments, he admitted that Woollim Entertainment has actually forbidden him from doing what helped him win.
Artists from Woollim Entertainment participated as celebrity hosts via MBC's South Korean Foreigners such as Sunggyu of INFINITE, Mijoo of Lovelyz, Sohee of Rocket Punch, and Jangjun. Understanding that artists are frequently prohibited from doing such things, the moderators asked what they had been forbidden from doing by their company.
Unexpectedly, Jangjun declared, "The agency forbids me to exercise." Since agencies usually want to keep their pop stars in shape, they want to know the underlying reason.
It turns out that the reason was that Jangjun was so masculine already due to too much exercise that he practically looks like he's about to bursts out of his performance outfits.
The idol confessed, "I have [wrecked] my outfits because I work out so hard." It's easy to imagine how Jangjun could tear a few stitches in his tops, with the huge arm muscles he has right now.
However, since Woollim Entertainment prohibited him from working out too much, fans could not catch any more glimpse of his toned body.
Currently, Golden Child has ten active members: Daeyeol, Y, Jangjun, Tag, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Jibeom, Donghyun, Joochan, and Bomin.
Golden Child was launched under Woolim Entertainment on August 28, 2017, with 'DamDaDi.' Woollim Entertainment revealed on January 6, 2018, that Jaeseok (previous member) decided to leave the group because of health problems.
