Lee Do Hyun recently involved in a controversy with rumors surrounding an alleged girlfriend with a fan gift.

Actor Lee Do Hyun has been the center of attraction in the Korean drama world for his fantastic performance in JTBC’s drama entitled 18 Again. However, the young actor is currently involved in a controversy in which rumors surrounding his alleged girlfriend busted by fans as they discovered something posted on social media.

They exposed that Lee Do Hyun’s private Instagram account liked a post from an unidentified woman. The said woman’s photo posted was wearing a pig hat. According to fans, the pighat was something Lee Do Hyun received from fans as a birthday gift.

Upon checking, the account used to have reacted “liked” was speculated to be the actor’s private Instagram account. Many celebrities, models, and fellow actors like Im Bo Ra are following the social media account.

Eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed and realized that the hat was part of a fan support project given to Lee Do Hyun for his birthday. A source from Lee Do Hyun’s agency stated through News1 that the growing speculations are not valid in which they added a photo taken three years ago.

The picture is when Lee Do Hyun was with a group of close friends, and they all tried the hat on together.

Lee Do Hyun’s fans felt discouraged and disappointed because he never even posted to thank the fans for the birthday support. People in South Korea are used to seeing celebrities posting proofs of project gifts.

According to some news, the fans in charge received some requests to give back their support money. Since a portion of the funds already spent on the gifts, it impossible to return. So, the fans decided to donate to charity the rest of the money.

Lee Do Hyun’s agency, Yuehua Entertainment, issued a report to clear out the speculations and clarified that the woman in question was merely an acquaintance.

Meanwhile, Lee Do Hyun has yet to give his response about the speculating rumors. Also, they deleted the Instagram post that caused controversy.
