The 36-year-old South Korean actor Lee Joon Hyuk, who starred in 365: Repeat The Year, has been featured in multiple magazines since his fame emerged in the K-drama spotlight. But this time, Lee Joon Hyuk was invited to be a celebrity cover for The Big Issue, marking his first cover since 2012.

The Big Issue magazine is a South Korean outlet that focuses on producing monthly issues that state advocacies and stand of its featured artists. The publication addresses timely and relevant topics that spoon the realistic struggles of the underserved countrymen of South Korea.

Moreover, as per Hellokpop, The Big Issue is “centered in the economic independence” for ten years now. And with Lee Joon Hyuk’s participation for its November issue, the actor showcases his partnership with the outlet as it celebrates ten years of prosperous social dedication.

Lee Joon Hyuk for The Big Issue

On his second grace with the outlet, he shared that he was enthralled and joyed when he knew he was chosen to be its anniversary cover star. Lee Joon Hyuk solely believes in the outlet’s purpose for society, leading him to share his position of principles as an actor.

“It’s been eight years already. 2012 would have been The Big Issue‘s formative years. But it’s amazing that I also started with the magazine,” he said.

He further said that he wants to portray his roles to the best that he can as an actor. Although he is not a perfect actor, he sets his mind to always be at his best to bring out his maximum capabilities.

Moreover, the proceeds of the outlet’s November issue starring Lee Joon Hyuk as its cover star will al go to in benefit of the less-privileged members of society.
