CNBLUE Dishes On Its Upcoming Comeback With New Album
CNBLUE shared about their comeback after completing their military service and before the year ends.
The K-Pop boy group CNBLUE recently had a photoshoot for the November issue with "The Star" magazine, where they excitedly opened up about getting the band back together with a new album to launch.
This month, the K-Pop group CNBLUE members Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jung Shin, and Kang Min Hyuk recently renewed their contracts with their agency FNC Entertainment. The company announced three members are planning to make their first comeback in nearly four years before this year ends.
The upcoming album will the group's first release after three years and eight months from their seventh extended play entitled '7°CN', released in March 2017.
Following this release, the band held a few tours like CNBLUE Spring Live 2017 'Shake! Shake!' sets in Tokyo, Osaka, and Aichi, and '2017 CNBLUE Live: Between Us' conducted in six countries.
In 2017, the boy band went through hiatus due to members joining the military. All three members Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jung Shin, and Kang Min Hyuk, were signaling a new chapter in their music career this year after being discharged from mandatory military service.
Jung Yong Hwa said in confidence that the new album has a more mature sound than their previous albums, and the tone has become softer and calmer. He also said that it is his favorite album so far.
On the other hand, Lee Jung Shin stated he is hoping that many people would listen to their songs, and it is happening these days; it is growing even more.
It seems because they are so satisfied with what they have prepared and created that they would want acceptance from people for their music. He also added that he is hoping that CNBLUE's music would always be part of many people's playlists in the future.
Also, Kang Min Hyuk shared that it is fun imagining what their music will sound like after ten years and hoping that they will grow as a more mature band over time.
However, Lee Jong Hyun, CNBLUE's fourth member, departed from the group and the company in 2019 from being involved in the Burning Sun scandal.
The K-Pop boy group CNBLUE is yet to announce the details of their upcoming return.
