SBS’s “Delicious Rendezvous” had BLACKPINK’s Jisoo as a guest, which helped set a new personal record for the show.

“Delicious Rendezvous” is a popular cooking show that includes cast from Super Junior’s Kim Hee Chul, ZE: A’s Kim Dong Jun, Yoo Byung Jae, and Yang Se Hyung. A celebrity chef leads the variety show, Baek Jong Won. The cast members highlight different locally grown with their specialty ingredients each week and develop new recipes to cook other dishes.

Jisoo appeared as a guest on the October 1 episode of the hit show and during filming. Jisoo took part in the “Delicious Shopping Live” broadcast.

The show’s live home shopping broadcast features the cast who sells a local specialty to help local farmers. The cast had an impressive record from consistently selling out different products each week.

The concept was to sell the menus at a specific meeting place with large populations such as airports, rest areas, and railway stations to make popular dishes.

However, Jisoo’s appearance on the show made a definite catapult in the viewer count for the show’s live broadcast to a new all-time high. The show leads more people to tune in than ever before. According to the program’s producer, approximately 60,000 simultaneous viewers watched the second half of the live broadcast.

In the variety show episode, novice chef Jisoo helped uncover the charms of a specific squash type. It translates to “crooked squash.”

Under the instruction of chef Baek Jong Won, she will valiantly try her hand in flipping the squash pancakes in the frying pan for the first time.
