Im Si Wan Reassures Fans On His Health Through His Instagram
When a staff member showed symptoms and got positive for COVID-19, Im Si Wan and Shin Se Kyung were shooting their JTBC show, Run On, leading the show to suspend production.
Im Si Wan was screened for COVID-19 as a result, and thankfully, it was discovered that his test came up negative. Yet, Im Si Wan still took to his Instagram account to reassure supporters of his well-being.
The actor posted his message alongside images of himself, "Thank you for worrying about me, and I'm sorry. I'm okay, so please don't worry." (via Koreaboo)
His fans sincerely hope that Im Si Wan and the entire cast and production team will remain well through this challenging period.
On September 28, Actors Im Siwan, Shin Se Kyung, and Lee Bong Ryun and the crew members of the actors' staff all screened negatively for COVID-19. "We are awaiting the test outcomes of the drama's crew members that have not yet been released."
The label concluded that they are yet to determine the exact shooting date.
Staff Member Tests Positive
A crew member has aroused symptoms and tested positive for COVID-19 on the production of the forthcoming JTBC drama "Run On." The show features Im Siwan, Shin Se Kyung, Sooyoung of Girls' Generation, and Kang Tae Oh.
JTBC announced on September 27, "A production staff member was verified to have contracted the COVID-19 today. We stopped shooting promptly, and then all the actors and workers that are in the same room as the reported individual are now in isolation and being examined." (via Soompi)
Amongst such stars are Im Siwan and Shin Se Kyung. A source from Saram Entertainment updated the public that Choi Sooyoung and her staff did not have direct contact with the staff who tested positive for COVID-19, leaving them excluded from the interrogation and swab test.
However, the source claimed that the staff and Sooyoung took extra precautionary measures and decided to quarantine themselves while being updated on the situation.
