f(x)’s Krystal Talks About Her Role And The Preparations She Made For Upcoming Drama 'Search'
f(x)’s Krystal sat down and talked about her role in the upcoming thriller drama “Search.”
Regarding her role, Krystal shared that everything about portraying a soldier was a big challenge for her. The script of the drama was fun. She was intensely drawn to the fact that her character is a soldier, a role she never tried before.
“Search” is a project in which Krystal hopes that many people will discover a new side of her, a different side of what she always does. Jung Soo Jung, or popularly known as Krystal, will be giving life to a new drama character, Son Ye Rim.
Krystal elaborated on her character as a woman with different charms. She says what needs to be told and she can be calm in all situations is her strength. She is genuinely elite, armed with her brilliant mind, innate physical strength, and competitiveness.
Even with many dangerous situations she faces at the DMZ, her emotions are not easily swayed. She is focused on her mission and leads the investigation team.
To pull off her character, she underwent a lot of training to fit as a talented and capable soldier. Krystal even interviewed a real-life soldier, and she attended action school to learn various moves and proper shooting positions.
To maintain her health with the training, she exercises a lot before filming. She added that although it was hard, she like being physically active. That is why she is enjoying it.
Krystal also learned the unique terminologies used by soldiers, and she has to get used to it, so she thought of them as words that can be used in real life, and she kept practicing.
Since they filmed with them wearing helmets, boots, vests, and guns in the middle of summer, it is one tricky thing to be in the situation. However, the investigation team actors are so much fun, it made the set light, and they made memorable moments on how they laughed so hard during filming.
