Speculations about 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon being in a relationship has been proven a fact!

Rumors have been circulating earlier on June 23 that Taecyeon was spotted in Gangwon Province dating his non-celebrity girlfriend. On the same day, 51K, Taecyeon’s agency confirmed that the idol-actor is indeed in a relationship with someone outside the industry.

It has been over a year since Taecyeon was discharged from the military since he had enlisted from September 4, 2017, to May 16, 2019, in Ilsan in Gyeonggi.

He mentioned before how he struggled with his sleeping routine, the nervousness that he experienced after not being in front of the camera for so long that he already forgot how he looked like, and the feeling of victory after hearing the trumpet that denotes his end in the military service.

The actor’s superb records and exemplary character while in the military service pushed his division commander to appoint him as a “Special Class Warrior” and was awarded “Model Soldier” by the Ministry of National Defense.

Taecyeon is a rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and entrepreneur. He is the main rapper of the boy group 2PM.

Taecyeon released his solo Japanese album ‘Taecyeon Special: Winter Hitori’ in 2017. He successfully held his first solo concert ‘Taecyeon (From 2PM) Premium Concert’ held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan.

In July 2018, Taecyeon signed an exclusive contract with 51K after his contract with JYP Entertainment ended. However, he remained as a member of 2PM.

He also debuted as an actor in Cinderella’s Sister which opened the gates for him to be part of the cast in Dream High, Who are You?, Wonderful Days, and Save Me. He also starred in movies like Marriage Blue and House of the Disappeared.

Taecyeon recently starred in the MBC drama ‘The Game: Towards Zero’ and is currently working on the film ‘Hansan’.
