Actor Joo Ji Hoon confirmed to play the male lead role in the upcoming drama "Mount Jiri!"

Earlier this year, Joo Ji Hoon received and offered to star in "Mount Jiri" together with Jun Ji Hyun. He would be in the drama that was confirmed that on September 4. Joo Ji Hoon will be working with the actor Jun Ji Hyun as the main character in the drama "Mount Jiri," set to air in the first half of 2021.

The role of Kang Hyun Jo will be played by Joo Ji Hoon, a rookie national park ranger with many secrets hidden in his closet. He is a former lieutenant who graduated from the Korean Military Academy.

The story will be revolving between two park rangers who are Jun Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon, who have to inspect the mountain despite the extreme weather. The upcoming drama is written by one of the known screenwriters, Kim Eun Hee, who wrote and known for the dramas "Sign," "Signal," "Ghost," "Three Days," and the famous "Kingdom" series. The acting is directed by Lee Eung Bok, who worked with several favorite dramas.
