Spotify has been one of the most successful music platforms where people listen to music and check out the latest tracks of their favorite artists. K-Pop music is also popular in the music platform, and the application is not short of favorite K-Pop songs.

BLACKPINK - ‘As If It’s Your Last’
“As If It’s Your Last’ debuted on June 22, 2017, and atop the Billboard World Digital Song charts, at number two on K-Pop Hot 100, and number 3 at the Gaon Digital Chart. It has 227.5 million streams on Spotify and ranked tenth in last month’s tally.
Jennie - ‘Solo’
Debuted on November 12, 2018, and peaked at the number one spot on the Gaon Music Chart and attained international success, Solo became Jennie’s first single to reach Billboard’s World Digital Song Charts.
It currently has 230.1 million streams and is positioned in ninth place in last month’s tally.
PSY - ‘Gangnam Style’
One of the most notable K-Pop songs on the list, “Gangnam Style,” took over the world by surprise when it debuted on July 15, 2012, and broke the Guinness World Record most-liked music video on Youtube. It has 236.0 million streams on Spotify and landed in the eight positions in last month’s tally.
BTS - ‘Blood, Sweat, And Tears’
“Blood, Sweat, and Tears” was released on October 10, 2016, as the lead single under BTS’s album “Wings.” The single debuted at number 1 on the Gaon Digital Chart, becoming the group’s first single to debut at number one and sold 2.5 million copies in South Korea. The track has 271.1 million streams and is unmovable from last month.
BLACKPINK - ‘DDU-DU-DDU-DU’
Released on June 15, 2018, the single debuted on the number one spot on the Gaon Digital Chart for three consecutive weeks with its MV released on the same day that became the most viewed online video on Youtube within 24 hours. The song has currently 299,7 million streams and unfazed by last month’s lists.
BTS - ‘DNA’
Debuted on September 18, 2017, “DNA” had good media praises for its production, sound, and BTS’ direction. It soars atop on the Billboard’s K-Pop Hot 100 and sold 2.5 million digital copies in South Korea as of February 2019. The single has 318.6 million streams on the platform and is currently at the fifth spot today.
BTS - ‘Fake Love’
“Fake Love” debuted on May 18, 2018, and served as the lead single of BTS’s album “Love Yourself: Tear.” The single received multiple awards, including the Song of the Year Award at the 2019 Korean Music Awards, and appeared on the decade-end lists of NME and Consequence of Sound. It has 353.2 million streams on the music platform and ranked fourth last month.
BLACKPINK - ‘Kill This Love’
“Kill This Love’ took over the music scene when it debuted last year of April 5 as it was in every Music Chart all over the world and broke another record on Youtube as the most views within 24 hours upon its release again. It has 367.1 million streams on Spotify and is ranked on the third spot.
BLACKPINK & Dua Lipa - ‘Kiss And Makeup’
‘Kiss and Make Up’ is a song by Dua Lipa and BLACKPINK from the super deluxe edition of the British singer’s debut studio album titled “Dua Lipa: Complete Edition” that was released on 2018. The single as 376.3 million streams on Spotify and unmovable at the number two spot.
BTS Ft. Halsey - ‘Boy With Luv’
And lastly, the boy of BTS takes the top spot with their last year’s single, “Boy with Luv,” as it was considered as a Platinum record by RIAA on June 24, 2019, and currently holds the record for the song with the most music show wins after the 2000s in South Korea with 21 wins. The song has a whopping 498.3 million streams on Spotify and counting.
