NOMINATION IN BONSANG

Indeed her bonsang nomination is one of Joy's most outstanding accomplishments by 2020. In July, at the 2020 MelOn Music Awards, Joy's Hospital Playlist OST, "Introduce Me a Good Person," was able to qualify for a Main Prize (bonsang).

HIGHEST SOLO RANKING FROM SM ENTERTAINMENT

Of course, it's no big shock that "Introduce Me a Good Person" can receive an award this year. It's had tremendous success, even so, on the Korean rankings.

The Hospital Playlist OST eventually reached an all-time high of #4 on chart aggregator Instiz iChart, topping SM Entertainment's solo works launched this year, having the highest virtual performance rating on GAON. It sits at a global index of nearly 350 million and counting as from this week.

FASHION WEEK IN NEW YORK

Joy's ELLE Korea shoot was not the only instance Joy collaborated with world-famous luxury brand, Michael Kors. Joy had secured one of the most prominent coveted invitations in the fashion industry before the pandemic reached complete swing: a VIP seat at Michael Kors' New York Design Week show.

The star made her fashion week premiere in her unexpectedly warm and chic sweater and skirt pair. Since Joy prefers all comfortable and rural stuff, the match perfectly matched her style. And Joy twisted all the photographers' attention as per fans who had shown up to cheer her.

ENDORSEMENT OF AVEDA

As discussed, Joy does indeed have a long term deal for solo endorsement with Espoir, one of Korea's largest beauty brands. She got to add yet another modeling contract to her list this year: Aveda.

Joy has been featured in several ads since being an endorser for this eco-friendly hair care products brand (looking stunning in every visual).
