Although K-pop idols are typically more discreet about issues like previous relationships, several idols have chosen to make their relationships more transparent. Jiyoon revealed a heart-breaking scenario in an episode of Video Star that transpired during the debut of 4MINUTE. She disclosed at that time that she started dating someone but eventually discovered out he was a popular playboy.

Jiyoon ended up finding out that even though he was courting Jiyoon at that time, this famous male person was also dating several other people. Not only did this surprised Jiyoon, but it also seriously hurt her.

FORMER SECRET'S HYOSUNG

Hyosung revealed on a segment of Radio Star that almost half of her previous relationships ended because she was cheated. Hyosung also told a story about a moment when her boyfriend was caught cheating on her. "One time, I noticed text messages of my partner. I found that when he was with me, he kept staring at his phone, so I figured it was odd and had a look. It said, 'Baby.'"

HENRY LAU

Henry's tale with his first girlfriend is a sad one, as she and his best friend spent most of the time cheating and lying on him. This has deeply affected Henry, ended up not having a girlfriend after the occurrence.

UNKNOWN FEMALE IDOL

Dal Shabet's Subin tells a story about one of her pop star-friends during a segment of Dating DNA Laboratory. Subin indicated that she had a boyfriend from one of her colleagues who she thought was a good guy. When Subin's friend showed her partner to the other representatives of her group, she was in for a surprise when she discovered that some other person in the group was seeing her boyfriend!
