BLACKPINK’s ‘Playing With Fire’ Becomes Their Fifth MV To Hit 550 Million Views On Youtube + Rumored Collaborate With Cardi B
BLACKPINK has made another milestone in their music career with their single “Playing With Fire,” setting a record of 550 million views on Youtube.
On August 31, 5 PM KST, BLACKPINK’s music video for “Playing With Fire” reached 550 million views on Youtube. The music video was released on November 1, 2016, meaning it took over three years, nine months, and 30 days to hit that milestone.
BLACKPINK’s “Playing With Fire” is the fifth music video to reach 550 million views after “DDU-DU-DDU-DD,” “As If Your Last,” “BOOBAYAH,” and “Kill This Love.”
Aside from that, BLACKPINK also reached a milestone on Youtube as they became the third most-subscribed artist on the platform. According to YG Entertainment, the group’s Youtube Channel surpassed 45.6 million subscribers by 8 PM KST on August 28, beating Ed Sheeran.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is preparing for the release of their full-length album titled “The Album,” with the group already releasing two singles: “Ice Cream” and “How You Like That.” Recent reports had rumored that the girl group is works of collaborating with Cardi B in the future.
Yesterday, YG Entertainment released a preview of BLACKPINK’s album so that fans could see some of the items that the package will contain, such as posters, photos, and CD Version.
And just in the design of the CD that attracted a lot of BLACKPINK fan’s attention on social networks, because even though the names of some songs were deleted so they would not appear, the name of Cardi B.
Due to this, speculation arises about the rapper’s participation in BLACKPINK’s full album. If the rumors are true, fans would expect another hit track from the girl group or another collaboration from an international artist. The girls have already collaborated tracks with artists like Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, and Lady Gaga.
