Stray Kids' Seungmin And Han Give Their Heartfelt Rendition Of DAY6's 'Congratulations'
Stray Kids' Han and Seungmin surprised their fans with an emotional cover of Day6's debut track "Congratulations."
Per Soompi, Han, and Seungmin on August 24 released a beautiful duet version of their labelmate DAY6's debut track "Congratulations." Members of Stray Kids, particularly Seungmin, who is well-known for being a massive fan of the band, have often shown love for DAY6's music.
Shortly, both Han and Seungmin, took to Instagram to share their thoughts on the cover afterward.
Han wrote a caption, "STAY (Stray Kids' official fan club), did you enjoyed listening to our cover of DAY6's 'Congratulations' which Seungmin and I worked hard to prepare? It was enjoyable covering it, and I believe that we are both happy to give our STAY a gift! STAY, please listen to this cover a lot, and we will do our best to continue working harder in the future so we can try to show you great things!! Thank you, everyone, and I love you!!"
On the other hand, Seungmin wrote on his Instagram, saying that it been a long time since they released an "SKZ-RECORD" for STAY to sing. He continued that their cover is the song that he wanted to cover. Seungmin explained that he asked Han's help for the song since it has a rap part, but then he realized that it would be better for Han to be singing alongside him.
Furthermore, Seungmin thanked Chan for helping them record the song. "Because we had to try to pull off emotions of the original song, I believe that we were able to learn a lot through this 'SKZ-RECORD.' Please enjoy listening to our song this time as well, STAY."
Currently, STRAY KIDS is preparing for their comeback next month. Here's Seungmin and Han's heartfelt rendition of the song "Congratulations."
