SHINee’s Taemin Unveils Teasers For ‘Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1’
Former SHINee member Taemin releases his new solo album entitled "Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1."
After Taemin unveils the MV for his prologue track "2 KIDS", the former SHINee member dropped another surprise for his fans with the teaser photo for the upcoming album "Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1." The photo teaser features the dates that show what the plans for the album are in the future, such as tracklist, MV, mood samples, and MV teasers.
Following Taemin's album release of "Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1" on September 7, the former SHINee member will make another comeback with "Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 2" with dates yet to be announced. It was previously stated that Taemin's solo comeback would come in three parts: Prologue, Act 1, and Act 2.
Meanwhile, Taemin's return with his single "2 KIDS" on August 4 makes it his third solo comeback. The track is a prologue for his album "Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1," to be released on September 7 with the title track, "Criminal."
"2 KIDS" is an electronic pop track with a warm guitar sound that features Taemin's dreamy vocals. The former SHINee member personally participated in writing the lyrics that express a memory of young love and heartbreak.
TAEMIN'S BACKGROUND
Taemin is a singer, actor, dancer, and songwriter who debuted with SHINee at the age of 14 in May 2008 and continued his success as one of the best-selling artists in the music industry. The singer began his solo career in 2014 with his EP "Ace" that peaked at number one on Gaon Album Chart and its title track "Danger," reaching number five on the Gaon Weekly Digital Chart.
Taemin began his acting career in 2009 with MBC's comedy "Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun" as Junsu. In January 2012, the singer also had an animated movie called "The Outback" and portrayed Johnny's role, a white koala turned hero, with fellow label mate, Girl Generations' Sunny.
