Chung Ha Collaborates With 'Sprite' For 'Be Yourself' MV
Queen Chung Ha is back yet again with a bop song titled ‘Be Yourself’.
‘Be Yourself’ is a collaboration with Sprite and also part of MNH Entertainment’s “New.wav” project. The song was composed and written by VINCENZO, Fuxxy, and Any Masingga.
Chung Ha’s new track bears the message that everyone are encouraged to express their true selves and that no one can be defined with a single color.
The “New.wav” project’s goal is for MNH Entertainment’s artists to release music outside of their comebacks and regular album releases, in an effort to interact with fans and the public more frequently. Chung Ha’s first song for the project was “Honestly I’m Tired,” which she dropped in February of this year, Soompi reported.
Chung Ha was recently chosen as the new spokesperson for ‘Sprite’ in Korea. The newly released track serves as an endorsement for the soda brand as well as a summer comeback from Chung Ha. Filled with green hues and refreshing visuals, the music video really is a treat for this summer.
For this year alone, Chung Ha has already released a number of tracks. She recently had her pre-release single comeback on April with the title track ‘Stay Tonight.’
‘Stay Tonight’ is a promotional single that, in addition to an addictive melody, has shown a music video that is distinguished by breaking gender and beauty stereotypes.
In the music video, the guys who were accompanying her were wearing heels and makeup loaded in dark colors, while combining it with the bright clothes they were wearing.
However, Chung Ha did not promote ‘Stay Tonight’ on music award shows since it was a pre-release single. Still, the song debuted at number 4 on the US World Digital Song Sales chart and became Chung Ha's first top-five entry and her third top-ten entry overall, respectively.
She also recently released a collaboration single with Zion T. ahead of the release for ‘Be Yourself’.
Chung Ha is on a roll this year and everyone is anticipating for more!
