MOMOLAND's Nayun Reveals Her Role Model + Thanks ' Merrys' For Continuous Support
MOMOLAND's Nayun embodies chic simplicity as she impresses at the bnt International magazine photoshoot with bold visuals and striking looks. The singer also shared the updates of her career and her ways of dealing with hateful comments.
The singer-actress revealed that she has just wrapped filming her web drama "The Police" and is now busy practicing with her members. During the talk, the interviewer mentioned Nayun debuting as a singer and now exploring the acting world. Concerning the switch, Nayun explained that she initially dreamed of becoming an actress, but she turned to become an idol as she discovered the fun in singing and dancing.
Nayun also shared that she started dreaming of becoming an actress after watching Gong Hyo Jin in "Master in the House." The actress explained that she considers Gong Hyo Jin as her role model. "I had watched Gong Hyo Jin before that, and I decided to make a try in acting after watching her dramas."
Furthermore, regarding her role as a singer, she added that the members always talked about Girl's Generation. And considering the group as their role model, they also want to become a long-running girl group, so they work hard.
The actress also shared the acting genre that she wants to try and said that she wants something unique and scary like a ghost.
Meanwhile, the singer-actress opened up her group's comeback plans and shared that they are trying to prepare and have continuously been receiving songs. Nayun noted that there are no official plans yet about the group as of now, but she believes that they will be able to make a comeback within the year.
Finally, Nayun shared a message with her fans and said that she always tries to show the right image to the Merrys (nickname for MOMOLAND's official fan club), but it always seemed it is not enough. "I wanted to work harder to fulfill your expectations." Nayun also expressed her thanks to the fans who stayed with them throughout the years, watching over them, and continuously supporting them.
