BTS J-Hope Donates For Those Children In Need
BTS J-Hope donated 100million won to help the children going through social issues and those who are also going through financial problems due to the COVID-19 ongoing pandemic confirmed by the Green Umbrella Child Fund Korea. He left a note with the donations he gave that he wants it delivered to those who deserve it.
The BTS member is also a member of Child Fund Korea’s Green Noble Club, a club that consists of various professions who donated large amounts of money to the foundation. J-Hope became the 146th member of the Green Noble Club in 2018.
In 2018, J-Hope donated 150 million won to support and foster the children’s talent. In February 2019, he also gave 100 million won to help fund scholarships in his alma mater, and in December 2019, he donated 100 million won to support infants from low-income families. J-Hope has given his latest donation to COVID-19 to help those children affected by the pandemic.
The donations made by J-Hope are because of his good deeds, and there was no public announcement made. And just recently, to support the live-performance industry staff, the BTS member donated an amount of 1 million USD as the pandemic caused them unable to work.
Meanwhile, BTS’ fanbase called the ARMYs is also known for following their idols, taking the lead on the donations, and donating to the same organization as the group has given. Plus, they are donating to other movements where they feel the boy group will support.
The chairman of the Green Umbrella Child Fund Korea, Lee Ji Hoon, expressed his gratitude to J-Hope, a member of the popular boy group BTS, for keeping in mind the children who are currently suffering through financial difficulties and by donating.
With the wish J-Hope left, the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation will do its best to continue to support those children in need.
