BTS’ J-Hope Proves His Generosity Once Again Through Aiding Children In Need
BTS’ J-Hope once again showed his golden heart as he makes another donation to help children in need!
J-Hope recently donated 100 million won (approximately $84,350) to the vulnerable children in need. J-Hope being a member of a group comprised of individuals who have donated large sums of money -ChildFund Korea’s Green Noble Club, shared that he hopes his donations will be delivered well to the vulnerable children in need.
He also wished that the help will reach the children who have been harmed by various social issues, especially those children whose lives are significantly affected financially by COVID-19.
In 2018, J-Hope joined the Green Noble Club as its 146th member and donated 150 million won (approximately $129,580) to help those in need and help support students in pursuing their dreams. In February 2019, the singer gave 100 million won to support the low-income students attending in his alma mater. Later that year in December, he gave another 100 million won to help children.
J-Hope’s donation this year will be delivered to the emergency living support fund, which aims to help vulnerable children who are in profound financial difficulties following the pandemic. More issues covered by the support include the children in the various difficult living situations brought by the country’s heavy rains and flooding.
Moreover, as reported by SBS funE, J-Hope carried generous action without informing others. Big Hit Entertainment and BTS recently made a donation amounting $1 million to Crew Nation, helping crew members who have been impacted financially due to the postponement of concerts during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ARMY (BTS fans) also contributed several meaningful donations to help carry out the said causes.
Lee Je Hoon, the ChildFund Korea’s chairman, shared their sincere gratitude to J-Hope and the world-famous group BTS for remembering the children’s needs in these difficult situations and making continuous donations. “ChildFund will follow the precious intentions of J-Hope and do our best to support children who need help.”
