Big Hit To BTS' Appearance In VMAs: We Cannot Confirm Anything Yet
BTS is set to debut their new track "Dynamite" in a performance in MTV VideoMusic Awards! According to Metro UK, the seven-piece, made up of RM, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, and V will be making a live performance for the first time in VMA in all their glory.
Earlier on August 5, the VMAs have shared an announcement that BTS will be making an appearance in the prestigious music awards to perform their upcoming English-language song "Dynamite" as the group's first ever-stage on VMA.
However, on August 15, Newsen has reported that due to the threats of COVID-19, BTS will just be pre-recording their performance. The news outlet explained that the pandemic made it hard for the superstars to attend the award ceremony and to pre-record their performance, and their greetings to the global fans online are the least they can do. The pre-recording, as reported, took place on August 17 in tight secrecy.
The Big Hit Entertainment also issued an official announcement regarding the reports. It said that the agency cannot confirm anything just yet, aside from their official aligned activities. "We ask for your understanding."
