Former ILUV Member Minah Debunks Agency Accusations + Claims She Has Evidence To Reveal Soon
The conflict persists between former ILUV member Minah and the company of ILUV, WKS ENE.
Heads up: suicidal discourse ahead.
In November 2019, Minah joined ILUV and marketed the track "Open the Door" before leaving the company and the band. She previously spoke out to accuse her ILUV co-members of abusive behavior.
She also said that she was experiencing depression, panic disorder, and sleeping problems caused by the members' actions and that she had an effort to seize her own life recently.
WKS ENE refuted those allegations, and Minah responded by saying that everyone at the company acknowledged the abuse. The topic was discussed briefly on SBS's "E-news Exclusive." WKS ENE has said they have supporting evidence like snapshots of KakaoTalk interactions, and Minah replied from her version of events to each bit of evidence.
During the broadcast, a company representative refuted all Minah 's allegations while Minah's attorney claimed she had proof to support abuse if the case goes to trial.
WKS ENE then issued a press release on Minah 's charges and brought civil proceedings against her. Minah started her statement on Instagram by thanking people who greeted her on her birthday last August 12. But since she's in the hospital, she isn't fully able to reply one by one.
She narrated how the agency called her a liar, adding to her trauma, insomnia, panic disorder, and depression. People ask her to drop evidence she's talking about but strongly disagreed to do so as this is her only consideration for her co-members. She revealed how she only wanted them to admit their mistakes and receive apologies from them.
But many things have happened, and Minah changed her mind and decided to discuss everything with her lawyer. She exposed how her co-members in ILUV are pretentious in front of the camera and how she suffered mental anguish while enduring all the assault, sexual harassment, and random inspections of her mobile device.
She tried asking help from the company's CEO numerous times but would always turn a blind eye for her. She concluded her statement by bravely stressing that she isn't a liar, and she didn't lie about her statements.
Mina conveyed her anger on the situation. Once the truth comes out, she will not be accepting fake apologies anymore. In the meantime, WKS ENE postponed the launch of BOTOPASS, a new girls' band that includes past ILUV members. (via Soompi)
