Kwak Dong Yeon Departs FNC Entertainment, Signs Under New Agency!
Kwak Dong Yeon has joined yet another agency!
The star had recently been established under FNC Entertainment. However, in June of this year, his agreement officially ended. A source from the industry reported on August 13 that Kwak Dong Yeon had reached an exclusive contract with a new company founded by former KeyEast executive Hong Min Ki. H& Entertainment revealed shortly on the same day that the company has reached an exclusive deal with the artist. (via Soompi)
H& Entertainment is a new management organization formed by Hong Min Ki, who's been with KeyEast for several years, and under his agency, Kwak Dong Yeon will proceed with his operations.
In 2012, Kwak Dong Yeon made his debut in the series "My Husband Got a Family," shining in many series including "Love in the Moonlight," "Fight My Way," and "My ID is Gangnam Beauty." Previously he was featured in the latest tvN drama "Vincenzo," starring Song Joong Ki, Jeon Yeo Bin, and Taecyeon at 2 PM.
ABOUT KWAK DONG-YEON
Kwak Dong-Yeon is a singer and a South Korean artist. He rose to fame in 2012 in the TV series My Husband Got a Family for which he had been named Best Young Actor at the Korea Drama Awards.
He soon made appearances in Adolescence Medley (2013), Modern Farmer (2014), and in 2016, with historical drama Love in the Moonlight, and he earned acclaim. Kwak is also a part and the main guitarist of the Kokoma Group, operated by FNC Entertainment ("Little Kids' Band")
CAREER
In 2013 he starred in the SBS drama series Jang Ok-Jung, Living by Love, as crown prince Dong-pyung. He subsequently appeared in the Special Adolescence Medley for KBS Drama. The same year, Kwak starred Inspiring Generation throughout the KBS period drama portraying the younger version of the role of Kim Hyun-Joong.
He landed a leading role in KBS Drama Special Middle School Girl A in March 2014, where he embodied a wise exchange student who had been humiliated in his new school. Kwak then featured in Modern Farmer, an SBS weekend series, as a rock band drummer who eventually transferred to a community to become a farmer.
