Chungha's New Song 'My Friend' Produced By Zion T.
Chungha is back with a collaboration track that will surely give you chill vibes.
On May 29, Chungha released a music video for her new track ‘My Friend’ featuring H1GHR MUSIC‘s pH-1. ‘My Friend’ is the third digital single by Chungha since her solo debut.
The new track is a part of Zion.T's current project for Song Farm where he produces songs for people he has not worked with before. Fans were delighted to see that he was also included in the music video with Chungha.
The song talks about being there for your friend and listening to their worries and struggles. It’s a sweet song that is paired with Chungha’s sweet voice.
Since Chungha has already proven herself to be a great dancer a lot of times, it is refreshing to just enjoy her beautiful and raw vocals this time around.
Chungha debuted after joining the reality girl group survival show Produce 101 in 2016 where she finished in fourth place. She debuted with the project girl group I.O.I where she choreographed their second single ‘Whatta Man’.
In December 2016, MNH Entertainment confirmed that Chungha will be debuting as a solo artist at the beginning of 2017 after wrapping up I.O.I's promotions. She debuted solo in June 2017 with the title track ‘Why Don’t You Know’.
She started to establish her solo career in 2018 when she released another album with the title track ‘Roller Coaster’. The album won the Digital Bonsang award at the 33rd Golden Disc Awards and the title track won the Best Solo Dance Track award at the Korea Popular Music Awards.
Chungha eventually won her first-ever music program trophy on the MBC's Music Show Champion in January 2019 for her new single album ‘Gotta Go’ and went on to receive a total of 7 total wins. ‘Gotta Go’ is her most successful single to date.
