BTS Jungkook's Solo Hit 'Seven' Achieves Top 10 Spot in IFPI Global Rankings
Jungkook of BTS has made an impressive entry into the top 10 of the "2023 IFPI GLOBAL SINGLE" with his solo single "Seven". The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) announced via its MENA (Middle East and North Africa) official chart, shared through their website and social media, that "Seven" has been selected as part of the TOP10 IFPI GLOBAL SINGLE 2023.
"Seven" notably held the number one position on the MENA official chart for two consecutive weeks. The 2023 IFPI Global Single Top 10 also features hits like Rema and Selena Gomez's "Calm Down", and Miley Cyrus's "Flowers", which secured the number one spot on the IFPI Global Single Chart 2023.
Previously, Jungkook had set a new global record by becoming the artist with the most number one hits (3 songs) on the MENA chart, an achievement officially recognized by the Guinness World Records. Alongside "Seven", the other two tracks, "3D" and "Standing Next to You", each dominated the MENA chart for two weeks in 2023, demonstrating Jungkook's global influence and popularity.
The MENA chart aggregates data from streaming platforms like Anghami, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, and YouTube Music to determine its rankings. "Seven" not only made it to the 10th spot on the IFPI's "2023 Global Single Chart" but also stands out as the only song by a Korean artist to be featured in the top 10, underscoring Jungkook's significant impact in the international music scene.
