BabyMonster Ahyeon Returns After a Year: Health Recovery and April Comeback
After a year of silence, YG Entertainment's new girl group BabyMonster member Ahyeon has shared an update on her life. On March 11th, YG released a visual film of BabyMonster on its official channels.
The video features an intense siren sound blended with a strong beat, showcasing the six members, Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Rami, Raura, and Chiquita, exuding charisma with their expressions and gestures, heightening anticipation for their new concept and performances.
In the final scene, Ahyeon captures attention with her silhouette. Despite only revealing herself for a brief moment during a close-up and as the shadows clear, she exudes a powerful aura.
Ahhyun is known as a versatile performer excelling in singing, rapping, dancing, and visuals, earning her the nickname "confident center" among fans. Her cover of Charlie Puth's "Dangerously" before debuting received warm responses from music fans worldwide, amassing nearly 40 million views on YouTube.
Returning from a health-related hiatus, Ahyeon will officially join BabyMonster for the release of their first mini-album 'BABYMONS7ER' at midnight on April 1st. The group, previously performing as a six-member ensemble, released the powerful hip-hop track 'BATTER UP' and the pop ballad 'Stuck In The Middle' showcasing their vocal talents. Their music videos have achieved over 220 million and 100 million views respectively, continuing to gain popularity.
Despite releasing two new songs, BabyMonster has yet to engage in music shows or fan meetings. With Ahhyun's return for this album, active promotions are anticipated, raising expectations among music fans. The spotlight is on BabyMonster as they prepare to showcase their music as a complete seven-member group.
