BTS Jungkook's '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' MV Surpasses 100 Million Views: Continues Record-Breaking Streak
BTS member Jungkook continues his streak of record-breaking achievements.
On September 29th (KST), Jungkook released his second solo single '3D (feat. Jack Harlow).' As of 2:45 AM on the 22nd, the music video's view count on YouTube has surpassed 100 million. This achievement adds another 'hundred million view' music video to Jungkook's repertoire, following his solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto),' which has garnered 307 million views (as of the 22nd).
'3D' is a track that expresses the desire to transcend the first and second dimensions and meet 'you' in the third dimension, wishing to always be together as 'us.' The music video metaphorically illustrates this message through various devices like stairs and mirrors, depicting the yearning to see the beloved 'you' across dimensions. The featured artist Jack Harlow also appears in the music video, collaborating directly with Jungkook.
Upon release, '3D' debuted at number 5 on both the U.S. Billboard's main song chart 'Hot 100' (dated October 14th) and the UK's Official Singles Chart (dated October 7th). With 'Seven' previously reaching number 1 on the 'Hot 100' and number 3 on the Official Singles Chart, Jungkook has become the first K-pop solo artist to consecutively enter two songs into the top 5 of both Billboard and the UK's Official Charts.
