LE SSERAFIM Hits Career Peak on Billboard's Global Top 10 with 'Perfect Night'
E SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) has achieved a career high on the U.S. Billboard charts.
On November 28th (Korean time), the U.S. music magazine Billboard announced its latest chart (dated December 2), showing LE SSERAFIM's first English digital single 'Perfect Night' climbing four spots to No. 9 on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart.
This ranking marks the highest ever for a song released by LE SSERAFIM on this chart, signifying a remarkable achievement for the group, entering the top 10 of the Billboard Global chart just a year and a half after their debut.
The 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart, which ranks songs based on online streaming and digital sales in over 200 countries/regions excluding the United States, underscores LE SSERAFIM's widespread popularity. 'Perfect Night' also maintained its ranking for four consecutive weeks on the 'Global 200' chart (22nd place) and 'Canada Hot 100' (75th place).
On Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, 'Perfect Night' rose ten spots to No. 68 on the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart, as of November 27th. The track has ranked in the 'Daily Top Songs' chart in 15 countries/regions, consistently holding top 10 spots in Taiwan (2nd), Singapore (3rd), Japan (6th), and Hong Kong (9th). Despite temporarily dropping out of the U.S. rankings due to the dominance of Carol music, the song powerfully re-entered the chart at No. 186 within just four days.
In addition to its international success, 'Perfect Night' has also been warmly received domestically. It became the first English song by a K-pop girl group to hit No. 1 on Melon's Weekly Chart (for the week of November 20th to 26th). The song has continued to enjoy popularity, maintaining the top spot on the Melon Daily Chart for eight consecutive days (November 20th to 27th).
