BTS's Jungkook on Upcoming Album and Addressing Past Privacy Breaches
BTS's Jungkook has come to terms with the challenges of stardom.
On October 4, Jungkook communicated with fans through a Weverse live broadcast.
During the broadcast, he mentioned his debut solo album 'GOLDEN', saying, "Even during the listening party, I was constantly practicing. That was for the next album. Since the title track requires a performance, I'm practicing hard. I really want to show it to you all as soon as possible. I'm truly grinding my teeth, throat, and body for it."
He continued, "Lately, I've felt that my stamina isn't what it used to be. I especially feel it when I'm dancing. It feels like I'm losing a lot of strength. But I can't not try, so I'll do my best."
He also expressed, "Many of you have been asking about my album for a long time, and I'm truly sorry that it's taken this long to share it with you. On the other hand, I feel this moment, where I can share many songs in my voice with you, is very precious. I'm sorry for the wait, and I'm very grateful. I'll give it my best shot."
Jungkook then hinted about his new album, saying, "I've done 'SEVEN' and '3D', but the title track for this upcoming album is very challenging for me. That also means it's amazing. I think you all will really like it, and you can look forward to it. I'm confident."
While sipping on a highball, Jungkook read a fan's comment and jokingly said, "Want to drink with me? Should I tell you my address?" He then added, "You probably know my home address, right? Isn't it all over YouTube? But I don't care. I consider it my fate. I just look forward and focus on the future with ARMYs. How long and how much can I worry about every little thing? But seriously, don't come looking for me," he said with a laugh.
Previously, in May, Jungkook had appealed against the invasion of his privacy due to his home address being leaked. At that time, he warned, "Please don't send food deliveries to my house. Even if you do, I won't eat it. I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm taking care of myself. Please eat it yourself. If it happens again, I'll take action using the order number from the receipt. So please stop."
Meanwhile, Jungkook will release his first solo album 'GOLDEN' on November 3 at 1 PM (KST).
