Ex-Member Of AOA Kwon Mina Apologizes For The Controversial Issue
Ex-AOA member Kwon Mina apologizes after the controversial issue.
In the previous reports, on July 3, ex-member Mina posted multiple posts in her Instagram account, detailing the experience as a member of AOA and the bullying made by one of the girl group members, which was later on determined to be AOA's leader Jimin.
On July 4, AOA's Jimin expressed a personal statement regarding the allegations she has bullied Mina. She shared her account of apology on a post on Instagram about the said issue. Meanwhile, the AOA's agency, FNC Entertainment, has not responded.
Later that month, Mina also talked about the relationship with the other members of the girl group AOA and FNC Entertainment on Instagram, the insincerity of the apology, and actions taken by the AOA and FNC Entertainment. On her second post, she also talked about unfollowing her co-members of the group and describing them as "bystanders," which she later deleted.
On August 8, Mina posted on her Instagram a photo of her wrist cut together with a concerning message. She stated that she doesn't want to go with a sense of injustice, Soompi reported.
Shin Jimin and founder of FNC Entertainment, Han Sung Fo, and Kim Seolhyun, know that what the cost but won't compensate for the psychological damage they have caused to Mina's family. Mina added that they don't even care about anything and that they simply care about the cash. "I am not even paid right."
The post appears to have been deleted.
Mina's current agency, Woori Actors, revealed on August 8 that Mina was being treated in the hospital and was later discharged on August 10.
Mina then posted the following apology on her Instagram account on August 11, 2020.
"A lot of people have been worried about me and supported me, but I disappointed them again, and I'm sorry. To who was hurt because of me, and to who must have been shocked when they saw that picture, I am sorry."
"I was told that when I wouldn't wake up, my FNC family stayed with me all night. I did like FNC and AOA. I was saad to quit AOA because of this problem, and it was so difficult. Today, I could sense the chairman's sincerity while I listened to him speak. I just regret that it's turned out like this. To fans who worried about me, acquaintances, family, I'm going to reflect and work hard at treatment so that this doesn't happen again."
