BLACKPINK's Lisa Becomes First K-pop Artist to Perform at Paris' Prestigious 'Crazy Horse', Supported by Jisoo & Rosé
BLACKPINK's Lisa has successfully completed her debut performance at the renowned "Crazy Horse" in Paris, France.
On September 28th (local time), Lisa graced the stage of 'Crazy Horse', one of the top three cabarets in Paris. With this performance, Lisa became the first K-pop artist to ever perform at 'Crazy Horse'.
"Crazy Horse" is counted among the top three cabarets in Paris, alongside "Moulin Rouge" and "Lido". Founded in 1951 by avant-garde artist Alain Bernardin, 'Crazy Horse' showcases a unique performance that highlights the beauty of women through light and choreography, all centered around the theme of women and art.
The cabaret has collaborated with world-renowned designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Louboutin. It has also attracted the attention of numerous stars, including Marilyn Monroe, Steven Spielberg, and Christina Aguilera. Notably, Beyoncé even collaborated with "Crazy Horse" for a music video shoot.
While there were initial concerns about the show's excessive exposure of female dancers, Lisa put those worries to rest by donning a different costume from the other dancers and delivering a professional performance.
It was also reported that Jisoo and Rosé, who were in Paris at the time, attended the venue to watch Lisa's performance.
Meanwhile, Lisa is scheduled to perform at "Crazy Horse" for three days, from September 28 to 30.
