Billlie Set for October Comeback as Quintet, Plans for Domestic and International Activities
Girl group Billlie is gearing up for a comeback this October as a five-member ensemble.
On the 19th, their agency Mystic Story announced, "Billlie will release a new album and make their comeback next month. For this promotion, Siyoon, Seon, Tsuki, Haram, and Haruna will participate as the five members. They plan to be active both domestically and internationally." Previously, members Moon Sua and Suhyun declared a hiatus due to health reasons.
Billlie's return comes about seven months after the release of their 4th mini-album 'the Billage of perception: chapter three' in March. With this mini-album, they broke their own initial sales record and clinched their first music show win with the title track 'EUNOIA'.
Following this, in May, Billlie made their official Japanese debut with the release of their first Japanese single album 'GingaMingaYo (the strange world) - Japanese ver.'. Amidst the keen interest from local media and fans, they successfully concluded their debut showcase. Last month, they were also invited as representatives of K-pop artists to the 'Kansai Collection 2023 AUTUMN & WINTER' held at the Kyocera Dome Osaka.
Billlie has been acclaimed for their storytelling, seamlessly weaving a narrative titled 'On the 11th day when the violet rain fell, the vanished Billlie Love' throughout their albums. Anticipation is high for the story that will be contained in their upcoming release.
