BTS's Jimin Dominates Male Idol Rankings for a Record 98 Weeks in a Row!
Top idol group BTS's (comprising RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, and Jungkook) member Jimin has secured the top spot in the male idol rankings for a staggering 98 consecutive weeks. Jimin clinched the number one position in the Star Ranking's Male Idol vote for the second week of September (98th edition), which ran from 3:01 PM on the 7th to 3:00 PM on the 14th, garnering a total of 32,549 votes.
With this achievement, Jimin has set a monumental record, maintaining the top position in the Star Ranking vote since its inception without ever dropping from the number one spot.
Following Jimin, BTS's Jin secured the second position with 12,412 votes. 2PM's Junho took the third spot with 12,202 votes.
Star Ranking is a fan-driven voting system where fans directly vote for their favorite stars to determine their ranking. Based on the voting results, various benefits are provided to the stars.
Stars who achieve the top spot for four consecutive weeks are featured in an outdoor electronic billboard advertisement. Fans of the star who maintains the top position for four weeks straight also have the opportunity to support through the outdoor electronic billboard advertisement video.
